ITV accessories support reliable ice production and easier handling. This category includes water filters, replacement cartridges, softeners, CALKLIN descaler, EASY cart trolleys and basket inserts, scoops, bagging equipment and compatible installation accessories.
Choose for the task: water treatment, equipment maintenance, ice transport and distribution, or a specific machine configuration. Start water-filter selection with the generator model and daily ice output.
Use the machine's kg/24 h output and series to choose the manufacturer's recommended filter size. Then identify the function required. Hard water calls for more frequent cartridge replacement.
| Type | Purpose | Selection point |
|---|---|---|
| Particle filter | Retains sediment and protects water components. | Mechanical filtration does not soften dissolved hardness. |
| Activated carbon | Reduces chlorine-related taste and odour. | Carbon alone does not provide equivalent scale control. |
| Anti-scale / combined | Limits mineral deposits, with the other stated functions. | Scale control and resin softening are different treatments. |
| INSURICE | Finer filtration with carbon and scale protection. | Use on a potable-water supply; it is not a promise of sterile water or ice. |
| C4 / VD12 softener | Resin softening with salt regeneration. | Allow for installation, regeneration and maintenance. |
| Product | Recommended ice production | Function |
|---|---|---|
| C150 7500 | 20–40 kg/24 h, also KITCHEN ICE. | Scale control, carbon and particles. |
| CS101 6759A | Cube machines up to 120 kg/24 h; IQ is listed separately by the manufacturer. | Combined filtration. |
| XL CS111 6830A | Cube machines 120–215 kg/24 h. | Larger single-cartridge system. |
| Twin CS102 6760A | Cube machines 215–340 kg/24 h. | Twin-cartridge system. |
| XL Twin CS112 6987A | Cube machines from approximately 340 kg/24 h; check the boundary for the exact model. | Larger twin system. |
| INSURICE 7369 / 7603 | High-output applications, listed from 340 kg/24 h. | 0.5 µm combined filtration; configuration differs. |
| Particle filter 7499 | Mechanical protection for different production sizes. | 5 µm sediment filtration. |
| Anti-chlorine 7509 | Cube machines up to 120 kg/24 h. | Activated carbon. |
| C4 30353 / VD12 34056A | C4 up to 140 kg/24 h; VD12 from 150 kg/24 h. | Regenerating softening. |
Check exact machine compatibility at range boundaries and for IQ, IQN, IQF and SCALA. An IQ recommendation does not automatically cover every similarly named series. Water flow in l/min and cartridge capacity in litres are different measures from daily ice production; supply conditions must also suit the selected system.
A new installation needs the appropriate complete filter assembly. An existing filter normally needs its matching replacement element. Similar descriptions do not establish interchangeable fittings.
Follow the cartridge's own time and water-capacity limits. The current C150 catalogue gives an indicative life of about six months. Older CS and other systems require their own cartridge guidance, rather than one universal annual interval. Hard water, high consumption or contamination can shorten life. Record replacement dates and monitor flow and deposits.
CALKLIN 200, 5 × 200 g provides separately packed portions. CALKLIN 1000, 1 kg is a larger pack for larger circuits or maintenance requirements. Pack weight is not automatically one cleaning dose.
The manufacturer's DELTA / ORION / ICE QUEEN CALKLIN instruction specifies 50 g per litre of water: for that method, 2 litres requires 100 g and 4 litres 200 g. These illustrate concentration, not the amount to pour into any machine. The latest instructions for the exact model and the chemical label take precedence.
Plan a maintenance and descaling-need check at least every six months, and more frequent cleaning when scale develops sooner. Daily hygiene remains separate. CALKLIN removes mineral deposits; sanitising is a separate compatible procedure.
The principle is to remove ice, prepare and circulate the solution in the prescribed cleaning mode, drain, rinse thoroughly and discard the initial ice specified in the manual. Controls and contact times differ. Internal electrical work belongs to qualified service personnel. Do not mix descaler with chlorine-based or other cleaners. Full guidance is provided on the two CALKLIN product pages.
The 19551 EASY cart transports ice from a compatible SCS / SCD bin. It holds up to 112 kg without baskets and has a lid, brake and drainage arrangement.
The 30501 six-basket kit divides ice into separately handled portions for distribution over products or display areas. Total ice capacity becomes up to 70 kg per cart with the complete kit. The cart and basket kit are separate products; the carts already included with an SCS / SCD are stated on its product page.
See the storage-bin buying guide for manual and cart-system comparisons and an illustrative investment calculation.
Select scoops for the amount handled comfortably. IBK-1 bagging equipment and matching bags support packing work. Crushers change the size of suitable ice pieces. Chutes, control accessories, wheel and mounting kits must match the equipment code and configuration. For a replacement, provide nameplate details and the existing accessory reference or a photograph.
With the ice-maker model and daily kg/24 h output, followed by the required treatment function and exact compatibility.
Choose suitable scale control for the output and expect earlier cartridge replacement and more frequent assessment of descaling needs.
It retains mechanical particles. Dissolved hardness and scale formation require the appropriate additional treatment.
No. Carbon primarily addresses chlorine-related taste and odour. Resin softening has a different function.
No. Follow the cartridge's time and capacity limits. C150 has an approximate six-month catalogue reference; actual use may shorten it.
Do not assume this: they are different generations. Match the installed head and exact reference.
Only when its amount matches the model's procedure. Daily output alone is insufficient to calculate the complete dose.
Descaling and sanitising are separate tasks. Use the separate compatible sanitising process in the manufacturer's and business's hygiene instructions.
It treats water according to its stated function; clarity also depends on the ice-making technology, water composition and operating conditions.
The rating is 70 kg across all six baskets in one cart. Fill individual baskets for the task and comfortable lifting.
