Stainless Steel Tables

A professional stainless steel work table is more than just a work surface. When properly specified, it becomes an integral part of the workstation: a dishwasher or other equipment can be integrated underneath, a sink or equipment cut-out can be built into the worktop, and the table can be configured with the required shelf system, drawers, enclosed storage, height adjustment or custom leg positions.

A major part of our professional table range is the Novameta S Line – a modular AISI 304 stainless steel system for restaurants, hotels, bars, food production facilities, bakeries, washing areas and other intensively used professional kitchens.

S Line tables are built around a robust 40 × 40 mm stainless steel tube structure. Standard adjustable feet allow the table to be levelled on uneven floors within approximately +30 / −35 mm.

Our online shop presents the most commonly selected dimensions and configurations, but Novameta tables can be tailored far beyond these standard choices. We can configure a table for a specific workstation, equipment dimensions, production process or non-standard project.

How to find the right Novameta construction

Use the Functionality filter to view electric or manually height-adjustable tables, VLU tables with hinged doors, NLU tables with sliding doors or separate worktops. Then narrow the selection by width and depth.

Base configurations differ between product types. RLV, QLV, VLU and NLU prices cover the complete table with the construction and worktop stated in its description. Products labelled “Worktop only” have no table frame or legs. Compare these inclusions when planning a complete workstation.

Examples: RLV electric table, QLV manual table, VLU with hinged doors, NLU with sliding doors and separate DML worktop.

Examples of available Novameta S Line table sizes

Dimensions are shown as length × depth. These active models are useful starting points, but size alone does not define the final configuration: specify the worktop type, lower structure and suitable accessories:

Each size can have different configurations. For a non-standard workstation, start with the nearest size and confirm the worktop, frame and accessory selection for the application.

Stainless steel worktops: DML and DSL

S Line tables are available with two main professional stainless steel worktop constructions.

DML – a 2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel surface with an aluminium composite core. It is rigid, waterproof and heat resistant up to approximately 90 °C, making it suitable for intensive professional use.

DSL – a 1.5 mm AISI 304 stainless steel worktop reinforced with stainless steel profiles. DSL is particularly suitable where a rigid all-metal construction is required. One-piece DSL worktops are used up to 3000 mm in length.

The worktop can be equipped with different upstands, integrated sinks, ribbed drainers, waste holes, side and rear panels and other components required for a specific workflow.

Novameta S Line table constructions

The same table size can be supplied with very different lower-frame configurations:

  • PRV – open frame;
  • PLV – reinforced lower shelf;
  • PLVS2 – reinforced lower shelf with an additional height-adjustable shelf;
  • PMV – frame for modular shelves;
  • PMVS2 – modular-shelf frame with an additional adjustable frame;
  • PSV – grid lower shelf;
  • PSVS2 – grid lower shelf with an additional height-adjustable grid shelf.

This allows the table to be adapted for a simple food-preparation station, washing area, bakery, pastry kitchen, bar or workstation requiring additional storage.

Stainless steel tables with doors

When the space below the work surface needs enclosed storage rather than an open shelf, we can also supply S Line storage tables.

VLU – models with hinged doors.
NLU – models with sliding doors.

The enclosed lower section is suitable for storing dishes, utensils, containers and other kitchen equipment. Additional shelves, door locks, castors and custom construction options are available. If the required size is not yet listed in our standard product range, contact us and we will select the appropriate model for your workstation.

Height-adjustable stainless steel work tables

The +30 / −35 mm adjustment of standard table feet is intended for levelling the table on uneven floors. If the actual working height of the worktop needs to be changed, dedicated height-adjustable tables are used.

RLV – electrically height-adjustable table. The working height can be adjusted within approximately 800–1000 mm. Depending on table length, the construction uses two or three motors, with models available up to 3500 mm long.

QLV – manually height-adjustable table. The working-height range is also approximately 800–1000 mm, with standard lengths from 1000 to 2000 mm.

These tables are especially useful where people of different heights share the same workstation or where different tasks benefit from different worktop heights.

Special worktop shapes and surface finishes

The worktop can be customised not only by length and depth. Its shape, liquid control and visual finish can also be adapted to the intended use.

Mirror edge – a mirror-polished worktop edge. It gives visible stainless steel surfaces a more refined and premium appearance. This option is particularly well suited to open restaurant kitchens, bars, serving lines and other areas where professional equipment is visible to guests.

DMI – a deepened worktop with an anti-spill edge. The work area is formed to help retain spilled water or other liquids on the surface instead of allowing them to run onto the floor or equipment installed below the table. It is a practical solution for washing, food-preparation and other wet work areas.

Satin finish – a satin-finished stainless steel worktop. The surface has a more uniform, less reflective appearance, giving the equipment a more understated and refined look. It is a good choice for open kitchens, bars and projects where the visual consistency of stainless steel equipment is important.

Integrated sinks and professional washing stations

Different sink sizes can be integrated directly into the worktop and matched with the appropriate drain and plumbing set. Ribbed drainers, splash guards, sliding sink grids and other accessories can also be added. This makes it possible to turn a single table into a complete food-preparation or washing station.

Drawers, waste holes and cover panels

One-, two-, three- or four-drawer blocks can be installed below the worktop. The drawer units are designed for professional use and are compatible with the GN 1/1 system.

Integrated stainless steel waste holes are available, as well as side and rear cover panels. The A-DSU-G rear panel is made to suit the table length, allowing the full rear section of the frame to be enclosed.

Custom table integration for dishwashers and other equipment

One of the key advantages of S Line is the ability to adapt the table to the equipment, rather than trying to fit equipment underneath a standard finished table.

Leg and support positions can be changed, clear space can be provided for a dishwasher, refrigeration unit or other appliance, and the frame construction can be modified to suit the installation.

A-DS-VIK / A-DS-VID solutions allow equipment space to be created on the left- or right-hand side of the table.

The frame height can also be customised. A-DSL-AR allows the cross-frame height to be changed while maintaining at least 70 mm clearance from the floor.

If a dishwasher or other appliance is to be installed below the table, we recommend providing its width, depth, height and intended position. Based on these dimensions, we can select a suitable table construction before production.

Solid wood and stone worktops

Not every professional workstation needs a stainless steel work surface.

We can supply 40 mm solid wood worktops in beech, oak or ash, with an optional oiled finish. Because natural wood expands and contracts, recommended dimensions are generally up to approximately 2000 mm in length and 1100 mm in width.

20 mm granite and other stone worktops are also available. Options include Bianco Sardo, Indian Black Dark, Deep Grey and other individually selected stone surfaces. Matching rear and side upstands can also be specified. A typical maximum stone worktop length is approximately 2400 mm.

OTHER PRODUCTS – additional Novameta table solutions

In addition to standard S Line work tables, we can supply specialised OTHER PRODUCTS solutions, including wall-mounted tables and large-capacity pot sinks.

DML-X0V – wall-mounted electrically height-adjustable table

DML-X0V is a wall-mounted work table with electric height adjustment. Because it is supported from the wall, conventional front legs are not required. This leaves more open space below the worktop and makes floor cleaning easier.

Available dimensions: length 800–2900 mm, depth 600–700 mm, height adjustment range 560–760 mm.

DML-H0X – wall-mounted work table

DML-H0X is a wall-mounted workstation with a worktop and lower shelf, without conventional front table legs.

Available dimensions: length 600–3500 mm, depth 600–700 mm, height 750 mm.

It is a practical option for wall-mounted preparation lines where minimal floor-level supports and easy cleaning are important.

DV1-P0A – pot sink with one large washing bowl

DV1-P0A has one large stainless steel washing bowl forming the upper work area. It is not a standard work table with a small welded-in sink, but a dedicated washing station for large pots, GN containers, baking trays and other bulky kitchen equipment.

Available dimensions: length 800–1700 mm, depth 600–700 mm, height 900 mm.

DV2-P0A – pot sink with two large washing bowls

DV2-P0A has two separate large stainless steel washing bowls. This allows two washing stages to be organised separately, for example pre-washing and rinsing.

Available dimensions: length 1400–2000 mm, depth 600–700 mm, height 900 mm.

Custom Novameta stainless steel solutions

Not every Novameta modification is included in the standard online product configurator. Some solutions depend on the exact workstation and need to be specified individually.

If you need a non-standard worktop, equipment cut-out, long table, custom leg positions, dedicated dishwasher space, a wall-mounted table, pot sink, solid wood or stone worktop, or another special solution, contact Šaldymo sprendimai through our general contact channels.

Send us the required table dimensions, equipment dimensions and, if available, a workstation drawing or simple sketch. We will select a suitable construction and prepare an offer tailored to your installation.

FAQ about stainless steel work tables

Can a table or worktop be made longer than 4 metres?

Yes. DML technology allows one-piece worktops up to approximately 6000 mm, but for very long worktops we always consider not only production feasibility but also transportation, doorway and corridor dimensions and whether the worktop can physically be brought into and installed in the premises.

Where a one-piece worktop is not practical, several connected sections can be used:

  • Z-D-BOLT – edge-to-edge connection of two worktop sections with a mechanical bolted joint;
  • Z-D-LINK – bolted sheet-to-sheet connection between worktop sections;
  • Z-D-WELD – on-site welding of worktop sections.

We select the most suitable connection method according to the overall length, table construction and installation conditions.

Can a custom cut-out be made in the worktop for equipment?

Yes. Z-CUT and Z-CUT-OPEN allow the worktop to be prepared during production for specific built-in equipment. The final solution is selected according to the installation geometry of the equipment.

The best option is to provide the equipment manufacturer's technical drawing. If this is not available, we need the exact cut-out dimensions, its position in the worktop and distances from the worktop edges. This allows the cut-out to be prepared during production instead of cutting stainless steel on site.

Can the table leg positions be changed?

Yes. Custom leg offsets are available:

  • A-DS-KAK – left;
  • A-DS-KAD – right;
  • A-DS-KAP – front;
  • A-DS-KAG – rear.

This is useful when the table needs to clear pipework, a wall projection or equipment positioned below the worktop. Leg repositioning has structural limitations and minimum clearances must be maintained, so the final layout is always checked before production.

How can space be left under the table for a dishwasher or other equipment?

The table can be designed so that a standard shelf, cross-member or leg does not obstruct the required equipment position. A-DS-VIK / A-DS-VID solutions provide equipment space on the left- or right-hand side of the table.

Leg positions and frame height can also be adjusted. To prepare the table correctly, simply provide the equipment dimensions and indicate where it will be installed.

What is the difference between adjustable feet and a height-adjustable table?

The standard S Line foot adjustment of +30 / −35 mm is intended for levelling the table on uneven floors.

If the actual working height needs to be changed, an RLV electric or QLV manually adjustable table is used. Their working height can be adjusted within approximately 800–1000 mm.

Can I order a table with doors?

Yes. We can supply VLU with hinged doors or NLU with sliding doors. Additional shelves, door locks, castors and custom construction options are available.

Can I choose a different stainless steel worktop finish?

Yes. Mirror edge provides a mirror-polished, more presentable worktop edge. DMI creates a deepened work surface that helps retain spilled liquids. Satin finish provides a more uniform and less reflective stainless steel surface.

These finishes are not selected only for appearance – they can also help adapt the worktop to a specific process and environment.

Can I order a solid wood or stone worktop?

Yes. We can supply solid beech, oak and ash worktops, as well as granite and other stone surfaces. These solutions are selected individually according to the required dimensions, application and interior design requirements.

Can I order a wall-mounted table?

Yes. DML-X0V and DML-H0X are designed for wall-mounted installations. Both provide more open space below the worktop and make floor cleaning easier.

DML-X0V also has electric height adjustment, while DML-H0X is a fixed wall-mounted table. Both are available in 600–700 mm depth.

Can I order a large pot sink instead of a standard table with an integrated sink?

Yes. DV1-P0A has one large washing bowl and is available in lengths from 800 to 1700 mm. DV2-P0A has two separate large washing bowls and is available in lengths from 1400 to 2000 mm.

Both models are 600–700 mm deep and 900 mm high. We recommend these models for washing large pots, GN containers, trays and other bulky professional kitchen equipment.

I cannot find the Novameta option I need. What should I do?

Contact us. The standard options show the most commonly used configurations, but we can specify many additional solutions – from custom cut-outs and non-standard support positions to wall-mounted tables, large pot sinks and structures designed around specific equipment.

Send us the required table dimensions, equipment dimensions and a short description of the workstation. If you have a drawing or sketch, include it as well.

Šaldymo sprendimai will select the appropriate Novameta construction, check its compatibility and prepare an offer tailored to your workstation.
