Medical Refrigeration

Medical and laboratory refrigeration is intended for temperature-sensitive materials where a more stable and precisely controlled storage environment is required than in ordinary domestic or retail refrigeration. This section includes laboratory refrigerators for positive-temperature storage and laboratory freezers for lower-temperature applications. Such equipment is used in laboratories, healthcare and research facilities, pharmacies and other professional environments when the temperature range and intended use of the specific model match the material being stored. Selection should therefore consider more than capacity: check the temperature range and uniformity, alarms and data logging where provided, door construction, shelf layout and the requirements of the actual storage process.
