Trolleys for professional kitchens, bakeries, dishwashing and storage areas. Choose Novameta service trolleys with solid shelves, GN container and bakery tray trolleys, dishwasher basket trolleys, platform trolleys and dedicated models for plates, cutlery and waste bags. Start with the load format, available aisle width, capacity and workflow.
VTS2, VTS3 and VTS4 service trolleys have 2, 3 and 4 solid shelves respectively. They carry dishes, trays and packaged items between work areas. Their welded frames and noise-dampening shelf pads suit daily professional use.
VTGN and VTGD carry GN 1/1 and GN 2/1 containers respectively, with single- and double-column configurations. VTGZ has a Z-shaped frame for GN 1/1 containers; empty trolleys nest together to reduce the storage space required.
VTT carries 600 × 400 mm bakery trays. VTB, VTBL4 and VTBL7 carry 500 × 500 mm dishwasher baskets; VTBL models also have solid shelves. These formats differ from GN container sizes.
VTP1 provides an open loading platform. VTL2 is intended for plates up to Ø260 mm and has removable shelves. VTI1 is a cutlery trolley with a tank and drain valve for 500 × 500 mm baskets. VTSM1 is designed for waste bags.
For service trolleys, compare the number of shelf levels and the clear spacing. Standard VTS2 shelf spacing is 580 mm; VTS3 has 270 mm gaps and VTS4 has 267 mm gaps. VTS2 and VTS3 are 931 mm high, while VTS4 is 1231 mm high with standard castors. Two shelves provide more clearance for tall packages; more shelves provide more separate loading surfaces.
For GN containers, trays and baskets, compare the number of positions and guide spacing. A double GN trolley with 24 positions has two columns with 12 positions each. More positions within the same frame generally mean smaller gaps. Allow for container height, lids and handling clearance.
The manufacturer rates VTS shelves at up to 50 kg per shelf with a uniformly distributed load and the VTP1 platform at up to 200 kg uniformly distributed. These ratings should not be transferred to other trolley families. Container capacity and load capacity in kilograms measure different things.
Check the narrowest doors and aisles, turning space and the area needed to park the trolley. Two braked castors help keep it stationary during loading. Standard castor sizes differ by family and are stated on each product page.
Product pages offer the options listed for that family in the catalogue: alternative castors, transport restraints on one or both sides and a cutlery slide for VTI1. Standard castors are included in the base price; alternatives are priced as surcharges. Overall dimensions refer to the standard castor configuration.
Solid service shelves support a variety of dishes and packages. GN trolleys use guides designed for a particular GN container format.
These are different formats. Choose VTT for 600 × 400 mm bakery trays and a compatible VTGN or VTGZ model for GN 1/1 containers.
Double trolleys have two container columns and a wider footprint. Consider both total capacity and the available aisle and storage space.
Extra positions are useful only if container height allows you to use them. Taller containers may need fewer positions with larger gaps.
VTS has a welded frame and fixed shelf positions. Choose the required shelf count and spacing before ordering.
They help limit containers or trays sliding out during transport. Availability on one or both sides depends on the model and workflow.
Use the alternatives offered on the specific product page. Standard castors and catalogue upgrade surcharges differ between families.
