An activated-carbon filter addresses chlorine-related taste and odour, especially relevant when ice goes into drinks.
Choose for taste and odour treatment. Carbon alone is not equivalent to scale protection; consider a suitable combined filter when both functions are needed.
Selection starting point: cube machines up to 120 kg/24 h. Start with the machine model and daily ice output. Confirm exact compatibility at range boundaries and for other series.
Replace at the cartridge time or treated-water capacity limit; hard water and intensive use require more frequent replacement. Include system condition in six-monthly equipment maintenance checks. Confirm the replacement reference and interval for the installed filter version. Monitor flow and deposits; outward appearance alone does not reveal remaining treatment capacity.
Install in the potable cold-water supply to the generator. Allow maintenance access, flush a new element as instructed and check for leaks. Pressure, temperature and connections must suit the system.
