Novameta S Line stainless steel work table 400 × 600 mm

Premium professional AISI 304 stainless-steel work table for restaurants, food production and other intensive commercial-kitchen applications. The base configuration is DML standard multilayer table top + PRV open frame. Standard height is 900 mm and the feet are adjustable +30/-35 mm.

Why the S Line construction matters

The Novameta S Line frame is made from 40 × 40 mm stainless-steel tubing and the catalogue describes it as “Frame based on DIN 18860-1”. DIN 18860-1 is a standard for open working tables used in commercial kitchens, covering requirements and testing related to construction and operation, safety and hygiene. In practical terms, this means the table is treated as a professional kitchen workstation rather than simply a sheet of stainless steel on legs: stability, hygienic design and suitability for intensive everyday operation are considered as a complete system.

This is one of the main distinctions from many budget imported work tables, where 0.6–1.0 mm sheet and AISI 201 stainless steel are commonly offered. Novameta's DML table top uses 2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel with aluminium composite, is waterproof, low-noise and heat-resistant up to 90 °C, while the S Line frame uses a rigid 40 × 40 mm stainless-steel tube structure. The premium is therefore tied to material specification, structural stiffness and long-term professional use rather than appearance alone.

How to configure the table

Select the options in order: first the table top and lower construction, then the upstand, followed by the sink and other required accessories.

1. Table-top type. DML is the standard multilayer table top: 2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel with aluminium composite, waterproof, low-noise and heat-resistant up to 90 °C. DSL is reinforced with AISI 304 stainless-steel profiles. Choose DML as the standard all-round solution and DSL when a additionally reinforced table-top structure is required.
2. Table construction. This determines what is under the table top. PRV is the standard open frame without a shelf. Table top only is used where no frame is required. PLV adds one reinforced flat lower shelf. PLVS2 combines that lower shelf with an additional height-adjustable shelf. PMV is a frame for modular shelves. PMVS2 adds an adjustable secondary frame. PSV has one grid lower shelf. PSVS2 combines the grid lower shelf with an additional adjustable shelf. For a table with a grid shelf choose PSV; for a grid shelf plus an additional adjustable shelf choose PSVS2.
3. Upstand type. The upstand protects the wall and helps contain liquids and dirt on the table top. A-DSB-11 is the standard 50 mm upstand. A-DSB-31 is angled and also has a small rounded inner corner. A-DSB-21 has a large rounded inner radius, making hygienic cleaning easier. A-DSB-41 is flat. If no special requirement exists, keep A-DSB-11.
4. Rounded front edge A-DSB-51. Select when a rounded front edge is required. It is a table-top finish option and does not change the lower construction.
5. Integrated sink. This 400 × 600 mm table is configured with a maximum of one integrated sink. Select a sink only when required; its dimensions must be compatible with this particular table top and compatibility is checked before production. Larger tables may allow more sink positions.
6. Plumbing set. Select only together with a sink. It defines the outlet assembly, from a simple strainer to valve, overflow or waste-basket combinations. No sink means no plumbing set is required.
7. Table-top form and finish. Z-D-CORNER provides an R=77 mm rounded table-top corner. Select it when required by the layout, passage or ergonomics.
8. Ribbed drainer. A-RIB-PK is on the left and A-RIB-PD on the right. It is particularly useful next to a sink when a draining area is required.
9. Castors. Select if the table needs to be mobile. Galvanised or stainless-steel Ø125 mm castors are available as a set of four, two with brakes.
10. Side panels. A-DSU-K closes the left side and A-DSU-D the right side. These are optional when a more enclosed, finished side appearance is required.

Configuration examples

Basic premium work table: DML + PRV + A-DSB-11.

Table with a flat lower shelf: DML + PLV + selected upstand.

Table with a grid shelf: DML + PSV. Choose PSVS2 if an additional adjustable shelf is required.

Table with a sink: DML or DSL + selected construction + upstand + one integrated sink + one plumbing set. Add a ribbed drainer if required.
