ITV SCALA 1500 SPLIT – Flake 1.5–3 mm ice maker

SCALA 1500 SPLIT – dry flake ice for products and process cooling

ITV SCALA 1500 SPLIT makes cold, dry flat flakes for food displays and process cooling. This Split production block connects to a separately designed refrigeration system; ice storage is also selected separately.

What ice does it make?

Flake thickness is adjustable from 1.5 to 3 mm. Thin pieces distribute readily and provide broad contact. Thickness affects production conditions, so use the manufacturer table for the chosen setting.

Where this model is useful

SCALA 1500 SPLIT is worth considering for fish and food displays, food processing and production cooling. Allow for initial display filling or the start of production, then replenishment through the shift. Match ice moisture, product contact and meltwater removal to the application.

Series features and practical benefits

• Static cylinder. A mechanical tool detaches ice formed on the cylinder as flat flakes, a different principle from cube and axial granular production.
• Electronic control. Electronic control manages machine operation. Follow the model manual for specific alerts and maintenance actions.

Choosing the configuration

Size the generator output and external storage separately. More storage can cover peak demand but cannot compensate for a continuing daily production deficit. The Split block needs a correctly designed external refrigeration system; verify the selected version, connections and operating conditions before ordering.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.

Compatible storage bins

• S500 + adapter 19539 (for SCALA 1500 SPLIT)
• SCD400 + adapter 19543 (for SCALA 1500 SPLIT)
• SCD600 + adapter 19544 (for SCALA 1500 SPLIT)
• SCD800 + adapter 19545 (for SCALA 1500 SPLIT)

The specified connecting adapter is included in the selected bin price. Select a compatible bin to complete the system.

Exact output, dimensions and other parameters remain in the Specification tab; select the ordered version in this product’s configuration choices. See the ice-maker guide for formats and demand planning.
