SCALA 10 TN REMOTE – dry flake ice for products and process cooling

ITV SCALA 10 TN REMOTE makes cold, dry flat flakes for food displays and process cooling. The production head works with a remote unit and separately selected storage, so the complete installation must be planned as one system.

What ice does it make?

Flake thickness is adjustable from 1.5 to 3 mm. Thin pieces distribute readily and provide broad contact. Thickness affects production conditions, so use the manufacturer table for the chosen setting.

Where this model is useful

SCALA 10 TN REMOTE is worth considering for fish and food displays, food processing and production cooling. Allow for initial display filling or the start of production, then replenishment through the shift. Match ice moisture, product contact and meltwater removal to the application.

Series features and practical benefits

• Static cylinder. A mechanical tool detaches ice formed on the cylinder as flat flakes, a different principle from cube and axial granular production.
• Electronic control. Electronic control manages machine operation. Follow the model manual for specific alerts and maintenance actions.

Choosing the configuration

Size the generator output and external storage separately. More storage can cover peak demand but cannot compensate for a continuing daily production deficit. Storage and ice distribution are specified for the individual project; the production head does not include an integrated bin. Plan the remote unit, pipework and service access as parts of the complete installation.

Remote installation. An individual consultation is required to determine the installation cost. The refrigerant pipework connecting the ice maker to the remote refrigeration unit is not included in the listed equipment price. The pipework route and installation price are agreed separately according to the installation site.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.
