IQN 90C – Nugget texture for drinks and cocktails

ITV IQN 90C makes Nugget ice: small compressed pieces for drinks and cocktails. Production and integrated storage are combined in one machine, keeping previously made ice at the preparation point.

What ice does it make?

Nugget is known as chewable ice: compact yet porous. It is chosen for texture and presentation in cocktails, soft drinks and specialty beverages, and differs from Diamond and Chip ice.

IQN 90C is worth considering for a cocktail bar, café, restaurant or self-service drinks area specifically wanting Nugget texture. Match the texture to your recipes and plan stock by ice mass per serving and peak demand.

Series features and practical benefits

• Axial construction. A stainless-steel auger collects and moves ice formed in the evaporator. Its surface treatment is a specified construction feature.
• Optical stock control. The optical system monitors ice accumulation. Storage capacity remains a separate measure from daily output.
• Front ventilation. Front airflow supports installation within the manual’s specified conditions. Keep air openings and service access clear.
• Service access. Removable panels provide access to components for cleaning and technical maintenance.

Choosing the configuration

IQN 90C is self-contained with an integrated bin. Assess daily output separately from stock immediately available for service. Allow enough reserve before the peak and time to replenish it. Select the offered factory configuration for the installation and power supply. A factory drain-pump version is offered in the configuration choices; decide whether it is needed from the drainage arrangement.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.
