IQF 500 – Chip ice for displays and busy operations

ITV IQF 500 makes Chip ice: small irregular pieces for displays and product cooling. This is a modular production head with separately selected storage, allowing the working reserve to match the installation.

What ice does it make?

Chip suits applications requiring ice to fill spaces and spread around products. It differs from regular drink cubes and thin dry SCALA flakes, and is produced directly without separate cube crushing.

Where this model is useful

IQF 500 is worth considering for fish and other food displays, buffets and preparation areas. Allow for initial display filling or the start of production, then replenishment through the shift. Match ice moisture, product contact and meltwater removal to the application.

Series features and practical benefits

• Axial construction. A stainless-steel auger collects and moves ice formed in the evaporator. Its surface treatment is a specified construction feature.
• Electronic control. Electronic control manages machine operation. Follow the model manual for specific alerts and maintenance actions.
• Optical stock control. The optical system monitors ice accumulation. Storage capacity remains a separate measure from daily output.
• Service access. Removable panels provide access to components for cleaning and technical maintenance.

Choosing the configuration

Size the generator output and external storage separately. More storage can cover peak demand but cannot compensate for a continuing daily production deficit.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.
