IQ 450 – granular ice for products and process cooling

ITV IQ 450 makes wetter granular ice for food displays and cooling processes. This is a modular production head with separately selected storage, allowing the working reserve to match the installation.

What ice does it make?

Granular ice is produced directly by an axial system. Its small pieces fill spaces and spread around products. Its moisture and consistency differ from Diamond, compressed Nugget and dry SCALA flakes; choose the format for the product and intended contact.

Where this model is useful

IQ 450 is worth considering for fish and other food displays, preparation and production cooling. Allow for initial display filling or the start of production, then replenishment through the shift. Match ice moisture, product contact and meltwater removal to the application.

Series features and practical benefits

• Axial construction. A stainless-steel auger collects and moves ice formed in the evaporator. Its surface treatment is a specified construction feature.
• Service access. Removable panels provide access to components for cleaning and technical maintenance.

Choosing the configuration

Size the generator output and external storage separately. More storage can cover peak demand but cannot compensate for a continuing daily production deficit. Select air or water cooling from the factory choices on this card, matching ventilation, water supply and drainage to the site.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.
