IQ 180C – granular ice for products and process cooling

ITV IQ 180C makes wetter granular ice for food displays and cooling processes. Production and integrated storage are combined in one machine, keeping previously made ice at the preparation point.

What ice does it make?

Granular ice is produced directly by an axial system. Its small pieces fill spaces and spread around products. Its moisture and consistency differ from Diamond, compressed Nugget and dry SCALA flakes; choose the format for the product and intended contact.

Where this model is useful

IQ 180C is worth considering for fish and other food displays, preparation and production cooling. Allow for initial display filling or the start of production, then replenishment through the shift. Match ice moisture, product contact and meltwater removal to the application.

Series features and practical benefits

• Axial construction. A stainless-steel auger collects and moves ice formed in the evaporator. Its surface treatment is a specified construction feature.
• Front ventilation. Front airflow supports installation within the manual’s specified conditions. Keep air openings and service access clear.
• Service access. Removable panels provide access to components for cleaning and technical maintenance.

Choosing the configuration

IQ 180C is self-contained with an integrated bin. Assess daily output separately from stock immediately available for service. Allow enough reserve before the peak and time to replenish it. Select air or water cooling from the factory choices on this card, matching ventilation, water supply and drainage to the site.

Select water filtration primarily by the generator’s ice output per day; hard water requires earlier cartridge replacement.
