INFRICO ABT204CP blast chiller/freezer – 4 GN 1/1 trolleys, 400/260 kg – enhanced performance

INFRICO ABT204CP is a 4-GN-1/1-trolley chamber-style blast chiller/freezer for central kitchens, catering operations and food production. Loaded trolleys enter the chamber directly, reducing individual tray transfers between cooking, chilling and storage stages. Rated batch performance: 400 kg chilling or 260 kg freezing per cycle.

Workflow and ABT features

AISI 304 stainless steel construction, 80 mm insulation and forced air circulation support intensive professional use. Rounded internal corners simplify cleaning. A door-mounted touch controller and USB port provide cycle control and transfer of settings, programmes and HACCP alarm information. INFRICO tests refrigeration circuits for leaks in a helium chamber.

Enhanced performance: the same trolley format is combined with greater batch capacity. Standard ABT204: 200/130 kg; this CP/PP family: 400/260 kg. Choose it when batch mass or production scheduling requires greater performance. More trolley spaces alone do not increase processing capacity.

Modification selection guide

“Modifications” selects a complete factory version. The base price is for C or CP; the surcharge for another modification is added to it. Choose one alternative per unit.

Code meanings: C keeps the entire trolley inside; S leaves the compatible Rational trolley wheels outside; P is pass-through with two doors. In CP, SP and PP the added final P denotes enhanced performance. PP combines enhanced performance with two doors. Modifications can change cabinet depth and other specifications. Choosing trolleys and accessories

The base ABT204CP accommodates 4 GN 1/1 or 3 GN 2/1 or 3 600 x 400 trolleys. These are alternative loads, not quantities to add together. Each trolley carries 20 matching pans or trays. Trolley capacity does not increase the permitted total batch mass.

The trolley selector specifies an optional trolley format and order quantity; select no additional trolley if you already own a compatible one. External dimensions: CBGN2011 (GN 1/1) 455 x 635 x 1787 mm; CBGN2021 (GN 2/1) 660 x 755 x 1787 mm; CBE20 (600 x 400) 530 x 705 x 1787 mm. Tray format is not the overall trolley size: check the frame, wheels, door opening and travel route before ordering.

The optional RAMABT21 ramp is for C/P/CP/PP versions. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are alternative optional controller connections. Other voltages or condenser configurations require an individual quotation.

Cycles and real-world performance

Declared chilling: +90 to +3 °C in less than 90 minutes; freezing: +90 to −18 °C in less than 270 minutes. These are product temperature targets. Results depend on food type, layer thickness, starting temperature, loading and airflow. Chamber air temperature is not the final food temperature.

Equipment and installation

The standard remote condensing unit is included. Trolleys, trays and optional accessories are additional. Equipment is supplied disassembled for assembly on site. Assembly, installation, connection, refrigeration pipework and commissioning are excluded from the equipment price. Scope, feasibility and cost are agreed individually for the site, condensing unit location, pipework route and available services. Consultation is required before ordering.
