QUASAR 20C – 20 g Finger ice and paddle production
ITV QUASAR 20C produces 20 g indented Finger ice using a paddle system, distinguishing it from conventional solid Gourmet-cube machines.
What ice does it make?
The semi-hollow shape increases contact with the drink, suiting quicker cooling where Finger ice fits the recipe. Its geometry differs from a large solid cube; match it to the serving style.
Where this model is useful
Consider the compact self-contained 20C for a café or smaller bar. ITV associates paddle production with a simpler design and demanding water conditions, while suitable treatment and cleaning remain necessary.
Series features and practical benefits
Paddle system. Paddles move water around the evaporator rather than spraying it through injectors.
Mechanical detection. The described design uses mechanical devices to detect cycle completion and a full bin.
Inward-opening door. Ice access does not require the projecting sweep of an outward-opening door.
