2026 has been a year of significant product renewal for TEFCOLD. During the first seven months of the year, the company introduced and upgraded dozens of professional coolers, freezers and refrigerated display solutions – from classic ice cream freezers to battery-powered mobile units, next-generation multidecks and energy-efficient display counters.
Taken together, these launches reveal a clear direction: lower operating costs, better product visibility, greater flexibility and easier everyday operation.
TEFCOLD began the year by upgrading its popular IC and NIC ranges to the new “02” generation. The new models retain the familiar concept of the previous series while adding front-mounted LED interior lighting and factory-fitted castors. The previous “01” versions are gradually being replaced.
This was followed in February by a much larger launch: more than 30 new ice cream freezer models. New FOCUS, IDB and IDC ranges were introduced, the IDA+ selection was expanded, and several new upright, tabletop and scoop-display solutions joined the portfolio.
One of the most interesting additions is MOBILUX, a 12 V battery-powered combi freezer/cooler capable of approximately 8–13 hours of operation depending on conditions. It opens up entirely new applications for events, seasonal outlets and mobile sales. TEFCOLD also added the compact 435 mm wide FSF176VH B, UDB tabletop models, ISA Isetta and Delta New scoop displays and new NIC-SC-SO versions.
Another clear direction is lower energy consumption. The new PDA3-CTF refrigerated display counters replace the previous LPD-3F range. They achieve EU Energy Class B and temperature class 3M1 while combining strong product visibility with rear sliding doors and front glass that tilts forward for easier cleaning.
The same philosophy can be seen in the new MDCB multidecks, which are replacing the EXTRA-CD range. The MDCB models offer 600 mm deep adjustable shelves, EU Energy Class B, temperature class 3M1 and a Bluetooth controller that can help simplify temperature monitoring and HACCP procedures.
For professional users, purchase price is therefore becoming only one part of the calculation. Efficient insulation, LED lighting, glass doors and modern low-GWP or natural refrigerants such as R290 are becoming increasingly important parts of the next generation of equipment.
Another noticeable trend is the growing focus on how the refrigerated product is presented to the customer. LED lighting, large glass surfaces, illuminated canopies and branding-friendly panels are now common features across new ranges.
FOCUS and IDC freezers are designed with branding opportunities in mind, while the new BTA can coolers are mobile enough to be positioned exactly where impulse sales are most likely to happen.
In other words, a commercial refrigerator is no longer simply a cold storage box. It is becoming an active part of the retail environment and a tool for selling the products inside it.
Mobility is another recurring theme in TEFCOLD’s 2026 product development. Alongside MOBILUX, the new ISC302SD provides large top-loading beverage storage for busy bars, festivals and events. KBAK units are designed around easy loading, transport and storage of beverage crates, while BTA can coolers can quickly be moved to changing promotional positions.
The underlying idea is simple: refrigeration equipment should adapt to the business rather than forcing the business to adapt to the refrigerator.
The same flexibility can be seen in TEFCOLD modular cold rooms. In 2026 the company even highlighted their use within beekeeping for storing honey, combs, pollen and other temperature-sensitive products – a good example of how modular refrigeration is moving beyond traditional foodservice and retail applications.
When the 2026 launches are viewed as a whole, several trends become clear. Proven product families are being upgraded rather than simply replaced, with better lighting, mobility and usability. Energy consumption is receiving greater attention. Retail cabinets are increasingly designed around visibility and merchandising. More compact, mobile and application-specific products are entering the portfolio. Digital controls and tools that support HACCP monitoring are gradually becoming standard professional features.
TEFCOLD is therefore moving beyond simply supplying a “refrigerator” or “freezer” towards providing more efficient, easier-to-manage refrigeration solutions designed around specific commercial applications.
These new and updated TEFCOLD ranges are already being added to the SaldymoSprendimai.lt online catalogue and can be ordered in Lithuania. They include the new IC02, MOBILUX, BTA, MDCB, PDA3-CTF, FSF176VH B, ISC302SD and other products introduced during 2026.
TEFCOLD’s European warehouse network means that many models can be supplied considerably faster than equipment that needs to be manufactured to order. Exact delivery time naturally depends on the selected model and current warehouse availability.
