Supermarket island freezer / chiller SCANDOMESTIC SIF500GC

SCANDOMESTIC SIF500GC is a commercial freezer with 325 L net capacity. Sliding glass lids create an overhead view of the frozen-food display. The model suits self-service merchandising and a larger range of packaged frozen products on the retail floor.

Product organisation and daily use

The freezer includes 5 wire baskets to separate product groups and make the contents easier to reach.

Interior LED lighting keeps the products visible. Electronic controls allow the required temperature to be set and monitored on the display.

Temperature modes and maintenance

Freezer mode operates at -24 to -18 °C; chiller mode at 0 to +8 °C. Switch modes to suit the range being sold. This is one shared compartment, so the two temperatures cannot be maintained at the same time.

The static freezer requires periodic manual defrosting. Plan the maintenance time and arrange suitable temporary storage for the products beforehand.

The lids can be locked when trading has finished.

Check the full 1520 x 680 x 840 mm dimensions and the space needed to use the doors or lids. Consider net capacity, pack sizes, defrost method and ambient conditions. Keep the ventilation clearances stated in the model instructions. The appliance is intended to hold and display products at the appropriate temperature; it is not a blast freezer.
