Stainless steel shelving units for professional kitchens, food stores and service areas. Choose Novameta welded STL, STP and STS shelving or flat-packed SRL units with height-adjustable shelves. STL, STP and STS have a welded frame that is more rigid than a flat-packed construction, with shelves fixed in position. They suit established storage layouts and packages of predictable height. Choose the shelf arrangement before manufacture; shelf heights cannot be changed in use.
SRL units are delivered flat packed for on-site assembly. The stainless steel shelves can be repositioned to suit changing package sizes. SRL units 1900–3600 mm wide have 6 legs; shorter units have 4.
Standard 1800 mm high welded units provide 503 mm spacing with 4 shelves, or 367 mm spacing with 5 shelves. More shelves give more separate storage surfaces but less space for tall packages. The bottom shelf is 160 mm above the floor in the standard configuration.
SRL shelf spacing depends on the chosen assembly layout. The bottom shelf must be at least 105 mm above the floor. SRL units are offered at 1600 and 1800 mm high with 4 or 5 shelves. Use the “Number of shelf levels” filter to select the required configuration.
Welded shelving is 600–2000 mm wide and 400, 500, 600 or 700 mm deep. SRL units are 600–3600 mm wide and 400, 500 or 600 mm deep. Check door openings, aisles and access for handling stock before ordering.
The manufacturer specifies up to 120 kg per shelf with a uniformly distributed load. This is a per-shelf rating, not a concentrated point-load rating. Frame rigidity and rated shelf load are separate properties: both constructions have the same declared per-shelf load.
Standard stainless steel feet adjust by +25 / −5 mm, a total range of 30 mm. Foot adjustment levels the unit on the floor; it does not adjust shelf positions.
Welded units can be specified with galvanised or stainless steel Ø125 mm castors, 2 of them braked, and a rear panel. Rear panels on units at least 1200 mm wide are made in two parts. A custom factory shelf arrangement can be ordered by selecting the option and entering the required spacing in the order notes; the standard 503 / 367 mm spacing is then replaced by the agreed layout.
Each product page offers the options intended for that unit. Stated standard heights and bottom-shelf positions refer to units on feet; installation height must be assessed separately when castors are selected.
