Sliding cold room door 1000×2000 mm – negative temperature

Designed for low-temperature cold and freezer rooms. 1000×2000 mm is the clear opening after installation, not the structural opening size. The selected temperature rating determines the corresponding construction, including leaf thickness, heating, compatible sandwich-panel thickness and threshold type.

Construction

• injected polyurethane insulation, density 43 kg/m³;
• standard surface: 0.5 mm painted steel sheet with polyester coating, white RAL 9010;
• optional stainless-steel surface;
• plastic frame, thermo-welded at 45°, and plastic fittings;
• sliding system made from aluminium profile;
• hygienic rail cover included;
• lock with emergency opening from inside the cold room;
• a replaceable heating cable is installed in the sealing gasket of negative-temperature doors;
• automatic opening kit available.

Temperature rating – what changes?

• Down to -20 °C – 92 mm leaf, heated sealing gasket, sandwich wall 80–120 mm, standard thresholds X1 / X3.
• Down to -25 °C – 121 mm leaf, heated sealing gasket, sandwich wall 100–120 mm, thresholds X1 / X3.
• Down to -30 °C – 121 mm leaf, heated gasket and heated frame, sandwich wall 100–160 mm, thresholds X1 / X4.
• Down to -35 °C – 121 mm leaf, double heated sealing gasket and heated frame, sandwich wall 120–200 mm, thresholds X1 / X4.
• Down to -40 °C – 151 mm leaf, double heated sealing gasket and heated frame, sandwich wall 120–200 mm, thresholds X1 / X4.

Important before installation – side clearance

A sliding door requires free wall space on the side toward which the leaf opens. The leaf must move completely clear of the opening. Shelving, pipework, electrical cabinets, columns and other equipment must not obstruct this zone.

Rail length depends on the door width W, so the available side space must be checked against the technical drawing for the selected size.

Clearance above the door

Space is required above the door for the rail, supports and hygienic cover. Based on the supplied installation detail and an additional installation allowance, we recommend approximately 440 mm of free space above the clear opening. Verify the final requirement against the technical drawing for the selected variant.

How to choose the options

1. Temperature rating

Choose according to the lowest actual operating temperature. The rating affects price, leaf thickness, heating and compatible wall thickness.

2. Frame installation location

Sandwich-panel wall (frame B) – for an insulated panel; the actual wall thickness must be specified. Masonry / concrete wall (frame E) – for installation at a masonry or concrete opening. According to the drawings, the B-frame opening is W + 100 mm and H + 50 mm, while the E-frame opening corresponds to W×H.

3. Wall type / thickness

Sandwich-panel thickness must match the selected temperature construction: -20 °C – 80–120 mm; -25 °C – 100–120 mm; -30 °C – 100–160 mm; -35 and -40 °C – 120–200 mm. For masonry / concrete choose “Not applicable”.

4. Door surface

The base price includes white painted steel RAL 9010. Stainless steel is available with the applicable surcharge.

5. Sliding direction

Direction is determined while facing the door from outside the cold room. Choose whether the leaf slides left or right when opening. Direction does not affect the price, but determines which side must remain clear.

Selection guide

1. Determine the required W×H clear opening.
2. Select the rating according to the lowest room temperature.
3. Check which side provides enough clear wall space for the leaf.
4. Allow sufficient space above the opening for the rail and installation allowance.
5. Select the installation location and, for sandwich panels, only a thickness compatible with the selected temperature construction.
6. Select surface and sliding direction.
7. Before preparing the opening and rail area, verify all dimensions against the technical drawing.
